Law Offices of Joshua S. Davidson
Criminal Defense Attorney Joshua Davidson discusses his background and experience with all types of criminal cases.
After I finished law school I began working as a prosecutor here in Arizona for approximately five years. During that period of time I handled a wide variety of cases. I handled sex crime cases, I handled narcotics cases, I handled vehicular cases, I handled cases involving allegations of
domestic violence. After serving as a prosecutor for approximately five years I left the office. I started the Law Offices of Joshua S. Davidson.
At my law office we focus entirely on the defense of people accused of
DUI, misdemeanor and felony criminal charges. We don’t do bankruptcy, we don’t do divorce, we don’t do personal injury. The only thing we do is criminal defense. When I take a case, I take a case with an eye of take that case all the way to trial. A lot of firms, a lot of criminal defense attorneys, they take a case with the eye of entering into a plea agreement or trying to resolve the case as quickly and with as little work as possible. Now in many instances, a plea agreement or some type of negotiation with the prosecution will achieve the best resolution for that particular client, but when I take a case the assumption is that case is going to trial and unless something else can be achieved to obtain a better outcome on behalf of my client, that’s exactly where the case is going to get resolved.
I like doing trials, I did over seventy trials in front of a jury as a prosecutor, I enjoy doing them even more as a defense attorney and when someone hires me they know they are going to get an attorney who is not only is qualified to take their case to trial if that’s ultimately what’s required but that they are going to be passionate about it and makes sure that their attorney is going to do everything he can to get the best possible outcome in their case.
